GUSTAVO 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Mountain

Our estate vineyard in the Sonoma Mountains sits above the fog line on an eastern facing plateau, resulting in great acidity and concentrated cabernet flavors for a vibrant and juicy wine. This comes together in a deep ruby, garnet red color with very pleasant aromas of black cherry, spice, leather, cola and some earthy notes. Tasting further uncovers ripe fruits of blackberry, black cherry and cherry balanced beautifully by licorice, tobacco, and dark chocolate gently integrated with mild oak. The wine is very smooth, silky and ends dry with very good length.
