Shipping policy

Gustavo Wine can ship non-wine items to all 50 states in the USA. But wine shipping laws vary from state to state. By placing  an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination.

To ensure your wines reach their destinations with the same quality our winemaker intended, we use the following guidelines to safeguard your shipment against unnecessary delays or increment weather.

We prefer to ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This helps our wines avoid weekends in locations without temperature control. Orders received Thursday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday. We will not ship product via ground in cases of extreme weather.

Delivery schedules are subject to change around holidays or inclement weather or natural disasters. A signature is required by an adult 21 years of age or older at the time of delivery for all wine shipments. By law, delivery release is not permitted when shipping alcohol.

Wines that are damaged in transit, or are not to your satisfaction, will be replaced. Any unsatisfactory wines need to be re-corked with the remaining contents and returned in order to receive a refund.

If your order has returned to our winery due to damage or an error on the part of the shipper or carrier, we will re-ship it at no cost to you. If your order has been returned after three unsuccessful delivery attempts or incorrect address, a reshipping fee of 50% of cost per package will be charged to the credit card on file.

If your order has already shipped and you: 1) Want to make a change to the shipping address, or 2) Want the order to be held for future delivery (up to 14 days), please be aware that our carriers charge a $20 per package fee for these requests and this cost will be passed onto you. We are committed to delivering our wines in excellent condition and in a timely manner.
